Things are in Full swing in AC2, the allegiance is kicking ass and taking names.  When we roll out full force, we are unstoppable.  People turn neutral to avoid us, they whine as we destroy them.

All in all, I feel like I'm in a perfect world :)

Oh, and I updated Rants with a response to some player whining.

Well, it was a fairly interesting weekend in AC2 with plenty of joyous politics to keep me amused.  We managed quite a coup in getting a very powerfull character from an opposing kingdom to join Total Eclipse (Yea, I know, not a big fan of the name either, but hey.).

On another note, I'm not entirely sure if the players in AC2 are the same type of players that populated AC1.  There's less of the rabid aggression which is expected in a dummied down version of the original.  I'll whip them into shape soon enough though, no worries.

Anyway, I posted some minor pvp theory simply because I hate seeing my opponents stand still ;P.  The two people who read the site should benefit greatly.

The stupidity at turbines latest attempt at content never ceases to annoy me.  Why on earth would I stop pvping for one moment just for their stupid, brainless and tedious attempts at quests.

This was a conversation I had with my friend a few days prior to the patch:

Friend: Some huge content shit is supposed to go in this patch.
Kynn: $10 bucks says its some stupid mote style quest, go find 800 pieces of some stupid thing to craft some other stupid thing.
Friend: haha yea, and don't forget the generic guy you have to talk to to make the thing.
Kynn: Right right, and of course he's 808982290348893 miles from where you start the quest from some other generic guy..
Friend: They said it was massive, so obviously it's some useless map change.
Kynn: Bet it's just some crappy armor you have to craft or get crafted.  Even if it's armor of making pc's gods I refuse to go do some stupid bullshit to get it.
Friend: Why dude?
Kynn: Because my head would explode.

I got sucked into playing AC2 while on vacation at the Mu's house.  It wasn't too hard, as I did want to play Turbines new effort at a game I just didn't want to get horribly disappointed again.

Well, I played it.  I hated it.  I played it some more.  Still hated it.  Kept playing it.  Fucking love it.

I can't stop, please.  Help me.
